What to do? i have quad rail gauge hooked up and edge juice attitude. im on my 3rd rail sensor in 6500 km. I took truck into dealer this last time to get oil leak fixed and they said it wont start again like last time it was in. i checked codes and im getting P0192 P0088 P0237 P0113. My rail sensor reads 3400 psi when i turn key forward without truck running so obviously its hooped. Do these rams use lots of rail sensors or is it my edge doing this?

 

Unplug that quad and i bet it won't happen again

Yeah, the only code I've ever gotten is P0192, and I run a Quad Xzillaraider with a Commander. Coincidence? Yeah, right... I never have a problem if the box is off, but if it's on and I pull a long hill, the truck will sometimes go into limp and pop the CEL. I now keep a code reader in the truck just for clearing the code and getting out of limp mode.

what should i do? ditch the edge or quad? i know my quad taps into my rail sender so i think its the quad.

 

The edge doesn't even connect to the RP Sensor.. You know what is connected to the sensor. Remove it.

 

The quad gauge ate two of my buddies sensors, so he removed it and hasn't had a problem since!!

If I was on my 3rd I think I would look elsewhere

 

all 3 since i hooked up quad rail gauge. before then no problem. so ya dont worry im ditching the rail portion of the gauge and just using the quad for Lift Pump pressure. ill leave that part of it but ill unplug the t harness going into my rail pressure sensor. sound ok?
