Correct me if I am wrong but does it go inline on the hose that runs to the turbo? Thats where I put it and my guage acts crazier than a sprayed roach it goes to 20 holds goes to zero and stays I let of the pedal and it goes to 10 accelarate and it goes to zero. Go to www.DieselManor.com and look at their gauge install pics. They also sell the boost bolt for like $7.

on that line you were actually readin the activity of the waistgate. so im guessing, when you stomp on it it spikes, and then as the rpms climb, the needle drops and settles on 0 and it proly wiggles and jumps all the time.

also its not hard to drill a hole in the stock intake manifold, and tap the hole i think its 1/8 NPT. or you can buy an aftermarket one that comes pretapped for such applications. just take the manifold off before you drill it to keep the shavins out of the head.
good luck.

You need at least a 50-60psi gauge on your Cummins (no "g"! ).

He's right. Autometer is mostly 60psi and that is what you need. I prefer the mechanical over the electrical. I have used both. Then when you go to twins, you can simply hook the 60psi gauge to the primary turbo and get a 100psi gauge for total boost .
