2wd lift... anyone but CST?

Is there anybody out there who makes a decent sized lift for the 03' 2wd 2500 other than CST?

Fabtech? or anyone know of somebody... for $1,100 I would swap in a Dana Solid Axle and convert the truck to 4wd/manual.

thanks, anybody have pics of lifted 3rd gen. 2wd's?

good luck at doing it for $1100 for the conversion. but fabtech does not make one. you can find 1/2t 2wd lifts all day long but not the 3/4t or bigger

I appreciate the info. I run a 4x4 fabshop so the swap would mostly just take time/patience. I think it'd be badass with a Dana 60 on leaf springs and 35"s with a NV4500 adapted to it.

I would rather buy somebody's kit and throw it on. thanks again.

$1,100 to convert a 2wd to 4wd!?!?!
what about transfer case, new brackets and mounts and all the other suspension and steering components?

CST is the only one I was able to find, and you would also need different wheels as they require a different backspacing than what the stock wheels have.

$1,100 might be a little low but it wouldn't cost much more with junkyard parts...
dana 60 front end, leaf spring suspension... all brackets/mods could be done in house... dshaft too, even most of the steering could be made out of DOM tubing.

time consuming and a 1st for me but I have no doubt that I could do it.

also- I have decided to get a body lift in addition to my 1.5" spacer... I CAN'T FIND the body lift kit for my truck except for $450... guess I'll be making that also, I just want to know WHY a body kit is more than $150? can anyone confirm something I don't see?

I am gonna look tomorrow and start fabbing one up in a week or so. I'll make a thread for it so it can help someone else down the road.

Going from 2x4 to 4x4 you will need a steering set up off of a 4x4. I think 2x4's are not a regular ole' box bolted to the frame.

yea, they are rack and pinion. I don't want to convert it to 4x4. I have done homework now and a body lift is more work than it's worth IMO.

I'll just put my spacer on it and some H2's (if I can find some chrome ones) and then add a spindle lift if needed...

when the truck gets a little older it MIGHT get tubed out and chopped up hell, it's paid for, why not
