24 valve exhaust manifold conversion

Have a 07 cummins and wondering if anybody has swapped a 325 exhaust manifold out for a 24 valve manifold? I know a few people have and just wondering how it went and if you liked it. Also wondering if I should find a used one for a good price and hone it out or get an aftermarket manifold. I really want to get the 24 valve sound back and its smoothness. Also want to get this done before I look at an aftermarket turbo setup. Any advice?

Been wanting to do this. levigarrett has done it to his with a HTT 62/65. He has an exhaust compilation video showing all his different setups. Sounds real distinct.

ya i seen his truck on you tube, its amazing to just change that one thing and get all that awesome sound back out of these motors. If i was to keep stock turbo in my set up, what would I need to do to convert this manifold? I have a flexhose oil line to my turbo so no prob there. I would need to change the intercooler boot and re design my BHAF? Anything else?

use the search function on here and it should come up. you can buy a 24V manifold anywhere in the classifieds on here. the only big hassle for me was the intercooler piping and I had it cut down at a local machine shop so. the new oil line I had made at a hydraulic shop. the oil drain I found at cummins and its the same as the stocker just longer so it worked out great. I ran a short section of flexpipe from my downpipe becuase the exhaust was off some but it works fine never had issues with it
