Question 2006 Cummins, Smarty Stack & Perferred Turbo???

I will be purchasing a 2006 Ram 2500 and was wondering what stacks best with the Smarty??? I'm shooting for 600-800hp. Tranny, exhaust and FASS are already covered. Need to know what the preferred turbo is for this type/year of Cummins as I'm a 2nd gen kid!!!!!

Twins A 100hp injector modified cp3 You should be around 600+hp and reliable. Anything more and it won't be as reliable. A single charger will get you there but it will start to get toasty around 600 or so. What's in my Sig including sticks and pump oughta get me around 600-650 or so

I see. Bluechrome, did you change your head gasket or did you just change out headbolts to studs one at a time and keep your original headgasket??

FRom what I've read on here most of these guys installing studs are just swapping them one at a time.I'm curious on the order they swap them in.Start in the middle and follow factory torque order or what? What torque do you go too as each one is installed?

Started at the front and went back. Stock MLS head gasket on newer trucks is a very capable piece. No problem with my gasket, so I didn't change it, just studded head for extra insurance. If I replaced gasket I'd of done the proper sequence of stud install.
Torqued studs to 125lbs. Then go back and loosen one and retorque to 125. Do them all this way. Then do it a third time.

That is a great way to do it, but be careful on higher mile motors. Also make sure your torque wrench is calibrated. We got bit on that one.

Thanks guys. Sounds pretty easy. When you switch out to studs, just follow the factory torque pattern? Pat, how's it going? What are a nice set of BD twins running for these days for the 2006-2007 5.9 trucks these days. I'm over here in Alberta.
