Well I changed the the 6 cd changer out with a 2004 single CD unit and there is a difference
I read several posts where the same unit was bassinng out the sound. I had the same issue and could not take it. I first messed around with flipping polarity however a means to no end.

I then decided to try a different head unit. My 03 2500 Hemi sounded fine and I could not accept listen to the music sounding like S%*@.

So I snag a unit off of EBAY for a $100 and installed today.

Results I feel are that the front window speakers are driven more and the bass control has control.

Now the sound is liveable and not drowned out.
