2 stroke or not 2 stroke, that is the question
Well I have 5000 miles on my truck and I'm going to try the 2 stroke oil in the fuel thing, hope it works, I need this one to last a while. It took 75000 miles before I had to replace the injectors on my 2003, well DC repllaced them

That's what I herd as well.Just picked some up at wally's,going to try it myself.I'm burning jet-a and need the extra lube.I have burned staight jet-a in my last duramax 40,000 miles no problems and the wife has 60,000 on a diesel liberty no problems, but didn't plan on keeping either of them this one I do.
Maybe i did something wrong, but when i used 2 stroke, my start up idle was all out of wack and my rail pressure was a little low, idle was rough and stumbling. Try this stuff. its $.68 a treatment and got much better reviews than 2 stroke. http://opti-lube.com/dfi.htm I also use their oil fortifier. Cooler temps and better milage when used in conjunction, at least for me.
Dumb question, but I keep seeing this pop up how 2 stroke makes the engine run quieter. Doesn't the diesel rattle come from valves and internals? It seems to me like oil in the fuel wouldn't have an effect on this stuff, but crankcase oil would.
