First off, i added tcw 3, 2 stroke oil to my gas this past tank. I put 1/2 quart to a full tank of gas. I went about 45 more miles than i usually get to a tank, with the same mix of city and highway. So I am thinking that the 2 stroke oil actually improved my gas mileage. THEN i go to fill up, i am way empty, I keep trickiling it in like i usually do because of the foam, And i get 35.45 gallons into the tank. Then manual says i have a 34 gallon tank, I understand you can get some in the fill tube, but 1.5 gallons? The overhead also said i could of gone another 20 miles, so there must have been some left in the tank. Anyone seen an improvement in gas mileage with 2 stroke oil? And has anyone put more than 34 gallons in their 34 gallon tank?

Just put some 2 cycle in today for the first time. Noticed it to be a little quieter than normal. Not sure on the fuel mileage part yet. Usually run MMO, but little cheaper so going to give it a shot. Put in 1/2 for full take also.

 

I get 42 gallons with the vent mod

 

I haven't put the two stroke oil in but I have poured in 39 gallons. There is a lot more tank than Dodge says.
