Does anyone know if this 16.5 wheel will fit my truck. I know the brakes are pretty big and there is not much room left with the stock 17's.

Most likely not. Even some aftermarket 17" wheels will not clear the calipers.

thanks guys, how do i know if a 17 inch wheel will clear the calipers. He has some other weld wheels that are 17 inch. i appreciate the feedback.

 

I have to pull this back up as I've seen some steel 16.5s on 3rd gens. Does anyone have this set up? I'm looking at some H1 (yeah the real Hummer) take offs, has anyone tried these?

 

Have set of h-1s in the garage, I have tried every which way to make them fit. 2" spacers in the rear and almost. I think 2.5 would do it. If I do do it I want to check into the "recentering" disks, but have concerns about trueness and vibrations. The front .... no way ... will not fit.

But If I got them on the back I could air down and pull my 5th wheel in the deepest of sand with ease double bead locked and all. If anyone has made 16.5s or found a 16.5 wheel that fits I would love to hear about it.
