1/4 results after tranny

Well now that i have the ATS full billet tranny and co pilot i went to the track with the crazy larry. My old best time with the crazy larry and stock tranny was a 14.67 or so with a 2.26 60FT. I put the crazy larry on and took the tq/management off and ran a 14.1(bad launch) after that i ran again with the low end power option on and ran a 13.997 at 95.5MPH and a 1.91 60 foot time! Does this sound decent for a tranny bullydog and exhaust on 35's?

What psi are you launching? It should be a little quicker than that...

i think with crazy larry and tranny as the only mods, with 35" tires, a 13.9 @ 95 is great.

BTW acook- i may not be the smartest, or know everything. but i see you have twins, studs, and firerings on the way...unless you are gonna push about 75-80psi or add nitrous you can get away with just the studs and the stock MLS gasket. they are pretty durable.

Luken: I was launching at somewhere between 13-17, im really not sure exactly. The low end power option makes it build boost so much different then before that its hard to hold a constant PSI, so i bounce back and forth. Next time im going to try building 20 and going for it.

getblown: Ive been told by most that just studs will do the trick, but some have told me theve lost the mls at only 50PSI with headstuds. Its really freaking me out, my twins should go 63PSI or so and i really dont want to spend the money but im kind of at loss on what to do, i dont have any experience persoanlly so?

I have stock studs and mls standing strong at 60 psi. It is hit and miss truck to truck I guess. So there is only one way to find out...
