07' BD - Edge stack

I have an 07' 3500 with the 5.9 and 6spd. I was thinking about getting the Edge att w/ juice in place of gauges. How is this stacked with the BDTD? Any other combo I should look at? I will be mostly towing and sled pulling. Shooting for over 500hp 1000tq when im done. Any info appreciated! Thanks.

I think it will work but it seems to be a general concensus that it may not be the best idea though some are tryin it. You may be better off tryin the hot juice with an EZ or MP8.

ditto. Exactly what wap said.

be prepared to get a dual disk clutch, a fuel system upgrade, and a good turbo!

These are all planned upgrades. I would like to start with the Attitude so i can moniter EGTs etc first. How do you like the EZ? I dont know much about the MP8s.

i don't like my EZ. for a while i ran just the EZ and saw fluctuating boost psi under steady throttle...even had my DTT guy drive it so he could see it. Unplugged the EZ and no more boost problems. at WOT it did work well with my standard Juice, when i get my HOT juice i'll see what the EZ does with it for a couple of weeks....then sell it. I would love to have an MP8. i'll be selling both my bullydog and EZ sometime in order to obtain funds for a turbo and an output shaft ( and injectors and maybe water/meth)

If you really want to roll the coal, I would look at a tst with R49. IMO it is not as pleasing to the eye as the attitude but with a 6spd it has most of the same capabilities and a lot more adjustment for the motor. There is nothing at all wrong with the juice I just dont think in the long run you will be able to build as much hp. I think I have seen some guys on here runnin in the 480 range with a hot juice and pressure box. This is all just my opinion so take it for what its worth.

if you aren't set-in-stone about Edge/Bullydog stack, run a TST/ MP8 stack with a 66 turbo. Wap is very correct in what he said.

Hey, no problem on the help, this is my first diesel too and if fellas on here didnt help me I couldnt help others so it is my pleasure.

About the mp8/tst stack, I dont know if it will be necessary anymore with the fp option on the new tst. Hopefully this weekend I will be able to put my mp8 back on and see how the power feels. I am sure some others will chime in but in the last year I have been on this forum the #1 box I have seen for big power is tst, now that the smarty is out it seems to be the hot ticket to stack with the tst but I have no experience. I got the mp8 with intentions of stackin with the tst but like I said the new fp option may make it obsolete. I dont know. My truck is still relatively stock so I may keep my mp8 till after I get a new turbo and clutch so I can really hammer on differant combos and see what is the strongest.

Most of all dont get in too big of a hurry, read and read and read until you KNOW what you need for your aplication. There is a box/ programmer for everyone out there you just have to decide wich one. With that said I knew all along I wanted 500+ hp but wasted money on things I knew would never net that high but I just got in too big of a hurry.

By the way a very knowledgable fella on here told me that the crazy larry/tst stack with a 62mm turbo will get you over the 500 hump and put you in the 515-525 range consistantly. My next step after fuel pump, clutch and turbo will be a downloader of some sort, prolly cl or smarty, but the tst is much more than my truck can handle now

true about the new fp choice on the TST, i had forgotten about that.

Wap is very correct yet again. I wasted too much money on the following items: Edge A2 monitor, Edge HOT Juice/Attitude, Edge EZ, and the Bullydog Triple Dog. I always knew i wanted 500+ but wanted something then so i jumped on it....but always planned on a TST/MP8 stack

I'm definately not set in stone. I'm open for anything. I'm trying to learn all I can about the programmers and what will work for my truck before I dive in. Just trying to see what is popular with you guys for power and reliablity.

After re reading some of my posts and yalls, I just want to make sure that it is clear that event though I think tst/whatever stack is gonna make the most power it doesnot mean that the edge, bd, ez, etc, etc, etc arent any good, they just are not my choice.

I just wanted to make that clear so I wasnt steppin on any toes. I too almost had a hot juice but it did not work out, someone else beat me to it, I have also owned a quad race and loved it, it just wasnt puttin out enough for me.
