I wish the experts making all these wonderful toys would come up with a cure for this so I wouldn't have to worry about it....
Secondrate, it sounds like we are having similar ideas for a possible solution. Actually, since I had to clamp my wastegate hose off anyways, I could just pull that hose and try to attach it to the solonoid in a way that I would not get the codes....

Alright. I finally took your advice and PMd him.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. You all know how irritating these kinds of things can be. I'm just glad I can clear the code and be on my way. I guess it could be a lot worse.....

The big issue here is that not every truck does this. I know plenty of guys on these boards are running bigger turbos and even twins without any issues. I think that's why it's so hard to figure out. Plus the fact that the truck may run fine for days, weeks, or even months without any problems. Figuring out why it all of a sudden decides to throw the code is the problem...

I had the same issue with the resistor in place of the solonoid. I'm starting to wonder if I just needed to replace the resistor I had on there initially. It worked fine for several months. I guess it could have been bad....
The solonoid works perfectly fine on the stock turbo so I'm sure it's fine.....

Another update with good news...
Well, it's now the 31st of October and I have not thrown the code since coming home from Fall Brawl a couple weeks ago. I think I may have figured it out.
I noticed that I would start the truck by turning the key to on and wait for the fuel pressure to go up and then come back down like it normally does. Once it did this I would start the truck. What I really didn't pay attention to was the fact that the computer was still going through it's normal checks where the engine light flashes and the dinger is going off three or four times. I started thinking about how I always start the truck, hear that last ding, and then there's a slight pause and then the CEL comes on. So, I started waiting until the computer is done doing it's thing and it is no longer dinging or the engine light flashing, then I start the truck. Well, I haven't had one issue since I started doing this. I was going to wait longer to post but figured I'd give an update. This may be it.
