05 Wastegate controller and aftermarket turbo

I keep getting a Wastegate controller code on my 05 motor, I took the stock controller out of the stock turbo and grounded it to the frame. I dont see how it would care if it was in the turbo or not. Anyone else have this problem? Does someone make somthing to plug in that would get rid of the controller?

Thanx

Well I am not certain, but the jumper that came with turbo from II plugs into the wiring harness that controls the electronic solenoid on the stock turbo. It might have a resistor to keep the ECM circuit logic happy. I have seen others post that they have just ignored it without problems, but with all the circuit logic in the ECM it seems like something is necessary to keep it from seeing circuit load problems.

Ok thanx. I am not sure if its causing a problem or not, trying to get all of my little problems worked out after my motor swap, think I have all of the major ones just have that one left. I have been told by a couple places that they always just let the solenoid hang and ground it and shouldnt be a problem.

Industrial Injection does sell a plug for that.....I have one...looks to be simply a jumper wire.

I would say its a resistor, be easy If you knew the resistance needed.
