$550 to spend

Everything I have is listed in my sig. I came across $550 extra this month. What should I get? I was thinking a smarty jr. but am up to any ideas. I have seen a lot of used edge juice w/ attitude, how do these hold up? I also have my eye on a used leer canopy for sale down the street from me. What do ya'll think?

2nd vote for smarty SR used from the classifieds....... patient, and one will show up in your price range. The adjustability of it more than makes it the wise choice, for what you do now, and what you do later as well.

I will have to keep my eyes open for a smarty sr. The reason I liked the edge is for on the fly tuning. I know smarty does it, but for like $825.

I think I'd save some of it for transmission work your going to need in the future.

My brother just got a pmt, if I chip my truck in the future that's what I will do. He got his for $650. Also adjustable on the fly and it's awesome, his truck weights around 9100 and it feels like it's super light. I will post his edge juice/attitude in classifieds if your interested.

Smart JR. Way less stress on the transmission and Edge....well, they're too problematic. Besides, the EGT's are too **** high with them, and they raise rail pressure on top of adjusting timing.

Used smarty jr or senior. That will give you the most change to your truck for the money.

An Edge EZ will raise rail pressure, not the Juice w/Attitude. Will not disagree with high EGT's in the upper levels 5/6. Level 1 thru 4 I have not had a problem with EGT's. I am not trying to convince you to buy the Edge by any means I have my smarty Sr. on the was as we speak, but I can also say that I have never had any issues with Edge products.
