205k Miles Few Q's Any Tips?
Just bought a new to me 07.5 mega cab 3500 DRW 4x4 auto.
Couple little things have my attention
1: Windshield washer doesnt work, wipers do. And yes there is fluid.
2: Perform service indicator came up on the way home from DFW with it.
It came from stephensville texas and now resides in eastern indiana. Any advice on keeping it on the road for as many years as possible?
Thanks

1) Motor, outlet on nozzles plugged, or just froze from winding up in Indiana from Texas, lol.
2) Could be a variety of things, pull codes to see if you have any.
Do all your regular maintenance and it should keep you motoring down the road.

Changing the ccv is easy. Remove the top cover of the engine to reveal the CCV. Lift it out and press the new one in place, put the cover back on.
Going from memory, I think its 8mm bolts and one that is a stud at the rear passenger side. They may be 10mm but I am leaning towards all being 8mm. Dang memory.
As for the cleaning of the egr...I will only suggest what worked for me and that is to do deletes...search that.
Get rid of the dpf, cat egr and egr cooler etc. It you have a truck with that many miles on it with the emissions stuff in place, deleting will make you a happy driver. Just my opinion.
