"my dealer seems to think it will be third week in May from late March order placement"


Sounds about right , mine is due in Mon. or Tues. ordered 3/22

 

Well, I just got the VON and VIN from the dealer..

VON:19755656.

They mentioned it showed a EST date of 5/14/2007 to ship.

I searched prior to posting, but does anyone have the link to search the progress/train by VON.

My new quad cab is supposedly on a train car in Chicago. Wonder how long it will take to get to Kellog,ID. Anyone had to wait on this one before?

 

Mine came in yesterday , just like the Dealer said. Hard to believe.

 

Just called the Customer care # 800.992.1997

The show the truck has a D1 order status.(gateline: Plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated date assigned)
He could not give a date, since it's speculative....
And to try back in ~ 2weeks to check status again.

Yesterday, the dealer said that it showed a 5/14 est ship date.

Need..... to.......find...... a....nother......way.....to.....pass.......the.... ...time.....

 

I ordered mine on 3-7-07 and it took 6.5 weeks to come in but I'm only 3-5 hours from the Mexico border.

 

i dont know if anyone else has this problem my mega cab was in newark around the 11th of april didnt get to dealer to 5/2/07 the truck drivers didnt want to deliver the truck becuase it is to big , what i mean is they get paid by the car if the have to take mega or c/c trucks the loose money they have to give up 2 cars which is about 600 dollars so they keep putting of the bigger trucks good luck jeff

Thanks for the words of luck, newburgh, NY. YOur just down the road. Which dealer did you buy your truck from? As for the truck shipping I have a QC short bed so it should not take up much more room than a car.

Has anyone picked up their truck at these "yards"? We do have a roll back towing business...

 

My dealer said the trucks they receive are shipped by rail to IL (can't remember the city name) or Memphis, TN where they are then off-loaded onto semi's and then trucked into the dealers in the KY area.

I just found out today that my truck's estimated ship date is May 16th !

blue i got my truck from bernicker dodge in cornwall,ny, we where told we could not go pick truck up because of 9/11 security crap told we would have to wait for there truck

 

for the comment about picking up your truck at the rail yard they dont do that in Indiana that I know of. somewhere else they might. I work for a major railroad in Indiana and we haul lots of cars and trucks, but never seen them just let ppl come and get them. there may be a certain dock they would release it at.
