Strange noise

On my truck after a while of driving when I will come to a stop all the way. the truck goes clunk. I thought it was the torque converter so I checked the trans fluid and it was OK. I am thinking it may be the rear end some thing to do with the Limited slip or does it have some thing to do with the rear brakes? The truck only has 18k on it. I still need to do the differential fluids. Any thoughts?

Maybe a u joint or a front axle joint. I had one doing that to me and it took awhile to track it down as the clunk. Kind of felt like the truck would stop and then a clunk like it was letting go or letting off the brakes...I dunno how to describe it. Stop the truck, pause, clunk.

I did my u joints and then i ended up doing the drivers axle joint.
Are you still under warranty?

That sounds like it. Are the u joints going to fail at 18k?
