p1011
p1011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday my truck started running sluggish. So I was on my way to pick up a new fuel filter, about 200 yards from the dealer it quit on me.I went ahead and walked over and picked up a new filter, installed it. It has never ran again. It shows a code of P1011. I have had bad experiences with this dealer before, so I just towed it home. I would be very greatful for any help!!:

P1011 code diffenetion is :P-1011-Fuel Pump Delivery Pressure Too Low.
There is a list of codes on this forum, do a search for the post.
Question, when you changed the filter did you just bump the starter to let the filter fill up? This will let the filter fill up first and then you can start the truck after the filter is full.
You may know this but just asking anyways.

Yes i did just bump the starter. Funny thing is I got it to start late yesterday. I let it run for about an hour. It ran rough at an idle, but ran good and smooth at about 1800 rpm's. I decided to back it out of the shop and take it down the road. As i was shutting the overhead door it died and has not srtarted again.
