Truck started yesterday when taking off from stop light or rolling down the road.
Get in the throttle and there is no boost totally flat then all of a sudden it hits and away you go...
Have had a couple of the mechanical boost not detected codes (P2262) in the past
but it has been a while.
It acts just like a gas engine when it boggs...
Exhaust brakes works fine; and when it does this it does not throw a code?
It does not do it all the time either; it is erratic.
Any help???

03DodgeHO, did you get any info on this problem? My 07 2500 6.7 just started doing something very similar.

Same as did my 6.7 07 2500... seems like its getting limited fuel like its boggin out real bad at any throttle % lite or floor... if you let off of it and get back on it boom you're off like a rocket...

My 08 bluetech does the same thing. Had engine light come on once when piddling around on the farm all morning.
Drove to town and it went off.

Mileage is getting a little better if I baby it.

It is your emmisions control system.

It does have... And i thought it might have been EGR vavle took that off and cleaned it up. It really wasn't very bad I'd say it had been cleaned maybe 20-30k miles before.

After cleaning problem persists
