Smile I smell it too

I smell oil too when I get out, It smells like the NEW paint & perhaps that clear coat shiny stuff coating the engine, I wouldn't worry about it

The oily smell is from the crankcase breather tube. It is normal to smell for 1000 miles after an oil change or if you have been working it hard.

My new 2006 stinks too. Still looking for a fix. 2000 miles and no help. Am considering re routing the hose to the passenger side.

that stupid breather tube gets everything under the front of my truck so dirty i cant stand it.........make it look like i have a leak on the front diff. because the tube is right above it.

Change from Rotella to Delo or Mobil or any other type of oil and it will go away, or wait with the Rotella and after 1-2000 miles it will quit.
