I need some opinions. Does it look right or not?

I pulled the black body moulding "door bump stops" off today to finish up my debadge job. And for some reason when I look at the truck to me it just makes it look cheap without those on there. I'm wondering now about putting the chrome laramie style ones back on it or should I put the black one back on? Would the chrome ones be too much or would it look ok? I realize some people hate all badges and despise chrome. What I'm really looking for on opinions is from likeminded people who appreciate and like a little chrome on their rigs. I'm also wondering about upgrading to the Laramie grille. What do you folks think? I apologize for the poor quality of the photo I guess I waited a little too late in the evening. One of these days I'll get a pic right

I think it would look real good with the chrome body molding on the truck it would match the door handles

do the chrome molding, & I think the Laramie style billet grill would look awesome too!!! I get that same "cheap" vibe when I look at my truck too, just doesn't look like a Laramie to me w/out the chrome molding????? I'd do the molding & the grill if it were mine!!! Lookin good either way though!! Dusty

Thanks for the comments so far. Keep em coming. Oh and the cab lights are sitting in the shop amongst other boxes of stuff waiting for me to get off my lazy rear end and slap em on

Nice looking truck. But in IMHO debadging any dodge makes it look cheap.

Get the chrome body side molding. Like rstone & Dusty Ratcliff said, it'll look great! About the grill. I'd look into grill inserts instead of replacing the grill. It would be less costly, give you alot more options, and still look great.

That's why the cummins badge is never coming off plus my receiver hitch cover and front tag advertisements

It'll be as is for a few more weeks but I'm leaning heavily towards the chrome body molding and a Laramie grille. As for grille inserts I don't much like those Nightowl. I like the one Triton has in his rig but overall I just prefer the look of stock there.

When I do get the new grille and stuff I'll post some update pics on this thread.

I personally think it looks MUCH better WITHOUT them. I had my rocker panels lined and saw the truck without the moldings before they sprayed it. I was wishing I took them off long ago. My truck's the same color as yours. I don't think that it looks cheap at all!

I think it looks good the way it is now, but some chrome would make it look good too. I like a truck that is stock, debadge, or dressed out. JMHO

I agree. I like the debadged look.

The factory body side moldings are also available in colors to match the paint.

That's my preference. Then they are barely noticeable but they still provide door ding protection...

i have almost the identical truck. i recently debadged mine and i like it a lot. looks so much smoother and clean. I have the chrome door handles and chrome rocker panels. i vote chrome rockers. i need to get some new pics in my gallery of it debadged. plus it is so much easier to wash and wax debadged.

i would love to replace my orange clearance lights with the smoked recons, but i am due for mods, so that is next.

I like it without too,, IMO that was the worst thing that they did in the 04 year. On my 03 it never came with them. If you could get a sport grill and bumper that would finish it off just perfect
