got truck stuck now have lights on dash
I just got stuck in a snow drift and was trying to get out and had it in 4x4 and it got kinda warm, not by the temp guage, but i could smell like hot rubber, but the two lights that came on are the ABS light and E Brake light..is this anything to worry about? i got unstuck, let it cool for about 30 min, killed it and plugged it in..Should I make an appt with the local dodge dealer? I have65000 miles on it.
Thanks
Thanks

Just a thought, but may want to crawl under it and check the brake lines just in case something got snagged. If everything looks good I would wait a day or two. May have gotten moisture in a sensor or something simple like that.

Ive had this happen a couple times....both the ABS and the E-brake light have come on after spinning all 4 for a time at high speed (seems like its always been when theyve been spinning for a few mins, off and on); but both have always turned off within 5-10 mins of getting unstuck.

I've had both the ABS and E brake light come on a few times, one or the other never both but only on extremely cold days with too much snow and some aggressive driving.
It turned off almost right away most of the time, a couple minutes for the minority.
My ABS works well but the E brake Shoe succumbed to the mighty Cummins' insane torque a few years ago.
