Had the 67,500 mile Perform Service notice come on in my truck yesterday. Well after searching here I found that it is for EGR cleaning, so it is going in next week to get it done.

In the reading that I did it was said that you should get a notice when the truck was doing a regen cycle, mine has never said anything. Then I also read that you need to get an update flash to the ECM and CCN (don't know what that is) to have this.

I see no stickers on my truck saying it has ever been updated. Is their a way to tell what version it is? Is their somewhere that will tell me what version my truck should have on the ECM and CCN so I can tell the dealer to do it. Seems these updates should be done by them automatically but they never do.

Get ready for a $900-1000 charge for the service. In addition to the EGR service, they replace several components, including CCV filter, fuel filter, etc., but I'm still not clear on whether or not it has any bearing on the warranty.

I already called them on it and they told me $250 and would take 3 hours.
