Engine missing/sputtering

I have noticed that during acceleration as well as at 70 MPH with and with out the cruise the engine will miss or sputter for a second. there is no fuxuation on the TACH? this anomaly happens spurraticly and under different circumstances; exhaust brake on or off, just after start up and a hour into highway driving. It feels like the truck jumps back and forth and resumes the crusing speed or acceleration. Otherwise the truck runs great.

Has anyone experienced this type of anomaly.

Is it similar to what my truck is doing? How many miles do you have? What mods have you done? Here is a link to the thread I started a couple of months ago. I still have the problem and no answers.

Please fill out your signature so we can see the type of truck you have and the mods you have done to it.

2007, 2500 stock 6.7 with a 6spd standard. I have about 30,000 miles and have been experiencing it the last 5,000 miles. The dealer has no idea?? Don't figure...

I don't know if this could be your problem. There is a wire that carries the cam pos senor signal to the box. Its in the wire harness to the AC unit. Chaffed it will make the engine miss. This thread starts to tell the story. There is another I can't find now that points to this wire as the problem for engine miss. I downloaded a picture which I will post as an attachment from the thread I can't find, below. You'll see the nicks in the wire if you enlarge the pic.
