Gentlemen - Thank you!!
|
??? confused
Now I'm confused, If deletes are done would you have to clean the EGR cooler and valve ? Nothing should be going through there I thought?
Is there some info on how to change the CCV filter ? |

forgot to post reset procedure!!!!!!!!!!
ok forgive me but I forgot to add the reset procedure for the perform service light. SORRY!!!!!
PERFORM SERVICE INDICATOR - RESET The “Perform Service” message will display on the EVIC each time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position to indicate a emission maintenance is required. To reset the “Perform Service” indicator system (after performing the scheduled maintenance) refer to the following procedure: 1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not start engine). 2. Press and release the brake pedal two times. 3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly two times within 10 seconds. 4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF/LOCK position. NOTE: If the indicator message illumination when you start the vehicle, the “Perform Service” indicator did not reset. If necessary repeat this procedure. |

i tried to go to the link you have in the maintenance guide you posted the link is titled
see: Removal\Replacement\EGR cooler the link takes you to a site called alldatapro and you need a logon name and password to access it is there some way to bypass the logon and password because there is no way to access the info with out it |
you can't click on the hyperlinks on the file that I posted unless you have log in access. i thought I removed them but looks like I didn't.
removal of the egr cooler is a 15mm wrench on the outside bolt, a 15mm socket with 3" extension reaching into between valve cover and cooler, a 11mm deep socket to remove v-band clamp, drain coolant. remove rubber hoses, pull cooler. its pretty simple |
ok thanks
