AV Flash

While in for oil change service, Tech said truck never had any updates so did AV flash which contains all the previous updates.

Truck runs great. Fuel mileage unchanged.

I believe the latest is the BA flash. I had the AV . At least that is what is on my sticker under the hood. Mileage improved from the old flash that was on there. It does more regens, but they are short, 10 minutes or so. I also unplugged the EGR and that greatly improved in town fuel economy but it throws a CEL. Did not make any difference towing on the highway. The Edge Insight, displays regen status, cat temp, etc and in my opinion, well worth the money. Plus its SUPER easy to install through the OBDII port.

I have been debating getting the AV done. Guess I'll go ahead on it. Thanks.

Thanks guys for the heads up.

The truck runs as good as before, maybe better. I'll keep an eye on the fuel consumption. The overhead display is showing a little better fuel mileage but I haven't had the flash (and more frequent regens) long enough to know for sure.

I wish I knew what updates the AV Flash loads.

I went in for the AV flash and it has been discontinued. Too many ECM's were being crashed.

The truck seems to be running smoother with the AV flash and fuel consimption unchanged.

Tech at one of the largest dealers down here recommended it. I have always respected his technical ability, number of trucks he sees everyday and have to go with this experience.
