I have a 09 6.7 with orange anti freeze the overflow tank was low and needed anti freeze i went to the local dodge dealer and told them I needed hoat anti freeze and my color was orange they looked at me like i had to heads the anti freeze they gave me was pink but it did say 5year 100,000 mile i put it in my truck did i just mess up my coolant system thank you.

Are you sure your coolant is orange? I would guess you have factory fill in your 2009. I wouldn't worry about what they gave you as the coolant has been the same for Dodge for quite a while now. There are not standard colors to the coolant type.

Distilled water would be fine also.

It uses hybrid organic type (HOAT) coolant. You don't want to mix dexcool or traditional ethylene glycol with it.

Zerex G-05 is HOAT. Their web page says Dodge uses this as their factory fill, but dyed differently.

mopar coolant has changed colors since the bankrupt problem. it is now more of a purple color, still the same p/n. probally new vendor
