Almost there
Almost there
I have been working on this truck for 1 year now. It was a flood truck and the whole thing has been rewired and flashed at the dealer. It still won't start. I took the injectors out, had them tested. Meanwhile, I put ATF in the cylinders, because I had no compression on the no.2 cylinder. The rings were siezed, but now I have compression. I put it all back together and bled the lines. It almost cranked, but not quite. I cranked and cranked on it and now it doesn't even want to start. I imagine it's flooded. I'm disconnected the fuel pump to solve that, but now I have to recharge the batteries. When I crack the lines going to the injectors, the diesel drips out. My question is...shouldn't the fuel pressure be really high? My son was cranking while I bled the lines, but I expected the fuel to shoot out, not just drip like an old tractor with a mechanical pump. I thought these 6.7l were supposed to have 3000 psi- enough to cut your skin.
