Adjusting transmission bands 68RE

Hey Guys,

I have started doing all of the maintenance on my 07 6.7 since the dealer couldn't figure out how to turn off the perform service light on my overhead display after having my truck for two days.. I did a Google search and fixed it in 30 seconds. The dealer said that they haven't had the diesel tech on my truck and I should be more patient with them. Two days and they couldn't figure it out!

Anyways, I am changing the differential covers and transmission filters and pan. I need to know where I can find the specs for adjusting the bands. All I can find is reference to the 48RE.

The 68RFE is a redesigned transmission from the 48RE. The 68RFE transmission has no bands to adjust. In fact I read an article from one of the diesel mags; that stated if the service garage tells you that the bands need adjusting gab your keys and run from them. All they want to do is steal your money.
