6.7l Exhaust

I have had a straight pipe on all my previous 5.9's and really like the sound. Is there anything you can do for the 6.7 to make it sound like that considering the muffler is already staight through and the particulate filter being so restricted?

I put filter back staight pipe on my new 08 it does sound a little bit better but nothing like my 05 twin charged 5.9. I also installed the AFE intake and just started running my PPE programer. The programer really helps the truck alot.

What did the programmer help??? I love my new truck but would really like a little more bottom end jump. A few more mpg's would definately help too.

If you are looking for exhaust note loudness, there really isn't too drastic a solution that doesn't involve illegal modifications. if you are looking for the sound of the old 24v's, try a programmer that advances timing. that will get you a bit more timing rattle as well as some more torque (can't see how anyone would need more than the 650 lb. ft. that comes stock though...)

well the PPE makes it alot more responsive out of the hole so far I love it and it does get 1 or 2 miles better per gal of fuel.
