2008 3500 4x4 Auto Blake delete - DING DING SEE DEALER NOW
 

Miles are 117K . Just started 2 days ago ding ding see dealer now. I missed shift and red lined 1st gear to point rev limiter stuttered all at same time Red Lighting bolt came on for about 1 minute until I noticed and I Cut truck off and restarted and lighting bolt went away and not been back. However OHD had said service required for last 10,000 miles I've owned and I thought nothing of it until mentioned above happened and now added to service required is a ding ding SEE DEALER NOW. I'm suppose to load up wife and kids and go 10 hour trip for a week in few days. Ok so this **** ding ding see dealer now won't go away and annoying as ****. I've owned truck 6 months and no problems till now. Truck runs fine but this light has me worried about sitting side of road needing to reload a tune or sumn. Truck was deleted when I bought it and I have no idea what tune on it as it came without tuner and attempts to contact PO through service records have failed. The brake brake gas gas and the three time gas don't work. I changed oil , fuel filter and CCV filter today and it's still on. But scanned truck with code reader and I have no active fault codes. So reading in the forums says probably have to put truck back to stock setting then reinstall tune and it should go away. However as mentioned above I bought truck without tuner and have no clue what tune it is. So I need to buy a tuner . It's 2008 6.7 cummins with deletes as follows , EGR cooler servo , EGR valve , Throttle Valve , Exhaust is turbo back straight pipe with deleted , Catalytic converter , NOX filter , DPF filter , muffler and all 5 sensors unplugged. So it's fully deleted engine and exhaust . I want a programmer that plugs in OBD or kinda simple and will tune write over what is there . I don't want to have to re flash at dealer. Other than delete mentioned above only mods are AFE air box , lift kit with spacers to run 35's on rear duals. Tried to upload pics of truck and deletes but says security token missing .

H&S mini maxx can handle all of your deletes. I have an 08 2500 and I just replaced my edge tuner with mini max and am doing those exact deletes as soon as I have time. Good luck!

I have an 07 6.7 with full delete and a mini max .
I keep getting a message on my overhead that says catalyst full need service ?
How does it know it full in my garage ? Lol .
Anyway I can clear it thru the mini max but that's only good for a few days then comes back on . I read change ccv filter? I have not changed it since 67.500 miles . I have 137,000 on it now. Does it need to be changed if no recycle is being done? Will this take care of the problem?

I would definitely change the CCV filter. I don't believe it has anything to do with the deletes and is a part of the normal maintenance. Additionally, you might try to reload the minimax software and see if that helps with the silly message. This seems to be a common issue that pops up and there may be a software update for it that addresses the message situation.

I will change the filter out .
But I already downloaded and reloaded . It was good for three months and now it's back !![verymad][roll].
Spent all this money for this?
Well I do like how much better it runs!!!!

Hey that is probably still better than a Window application lol! I've been lucky to not experience this particualr annoyance. It is amazing how nice the trucks run with these programs and deletes.

Maybe there is a newer version of the mini-max software you need to download into the programmer? I have a Smarty so not sure what the latest and greatest is for the mini-max...
