The cost was posted a couple back... https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...1&postcount=15.
I'd tell you where I bought mine, but the admins will just edit it out, again...

Well I fueled up and figured I gained about 1.5mpg.

I must say, I am enjoying the results from this kit, and not just the mileage gain.

I wish someone would make one of these kits that didn't stick out of the hub cap so far. In my opinion it looks very out of place. This is the only reason I have not done the lockout hub modification to my truck yet. I would even settle for a kit that had a factory style sealed unit bearing, if it would make the locking hub flush or just barely sticking out of the hub cap.

Bringing this thread back to update with Yukon's low-profile hub install...

Here's the pictures:

With Warn hubs installed...

Pulling the Warn hubs...

Installing the new Yukon low-profile hubs...

And now to compare the two, Warn below & the new Yukon installed on the top!

As you can see, I've shaved about 1" off with the Yukon hubs, plus they are a quicker 1/4 turn design so locking the axle in and out is that much easiler!

This question based simply on laziness of having to get out of the rig: Does anyone make a respectable hub that can be locked/unlocked from inside the truck? I know this is as lazy as it gets, but I can't be the only one wondering...

When I had hubs,I'd simply lock them up offroad and engage/disengage 4wd. When I hit the highway,I'd simply unlock them. No effort at all.

JBBunting, Got a question for you. I too have the spyntec shorty hubs with the mile marker locking hub. Do you think or know if this locking hub can fit on the Spyntec's? TIA

The 1/4 turn seem nice at first buy after a while they get harder to turn, might be all the salt they spread in the winter here.
