Who makes the best exhaust brake for an 06 stick? What do you think of the dealer installed Jacob brand brake? Whats your opinion?

 

I could be wrong but I think that Jac is the only one that is accepted warranty wise by Dodge and Cummins.

 

I went with the Jake, and saved a few bucks by installing myself. I'd price check the Cummins parts house also.

A friend has a pac brake and is very happy with it. I know that the Jacob brand is the one with the DC and Cummins logos on it that both places sell, but if you went with another brand I would think they would have to show that a failure was the result of a defect or the design of the exhaust brake to deny warranty?

Bottom line, for me at least, I prefer the Jacob, but I think either would likely make you happy.
