White smoke on start up

About 3 months ago I noticed that my truck puffs out some white smoke for about 5 seconds when i start it up after it has been sitting for awhile. Now I did some searching on here and found that this is most associated with a leaky injector but I haven't noticed any increase in oil. The truck only has 68k miles on it, could this be the problem or could there be something else.

On my 06 I had this problem twice. Both times it was due to leaky injectors. In total I had 8 injectors replaced. The first time was two and the second they replaced all 6. Worked both times. [laugh]

Try changing the fuel filter. My filter had become plugged after only a couple of thousand miles and it was causing the truck to produce a cloud of white smoke and rough idle on start up. Changing the filter fixed it for me.

I'll try changing the filter and see if that helps. Other then it smoking on start up the truck runs great so I hope it's not an injector
