whats the difference between the hd and a regular truck?

 

Good question. but aren't all the 25 and 3500's HDs. i notice on some 03s maybe 04s? that have HD in bigger crome letters. its smaller on my o5. i just wish it says DODGE on the tail gate somewhere, like the old ones.
i had a similar wonder about the 95-97 Fords. some say XLT under the F250 like dads, and some say 'heavey duty' never really figured out the difference. maybe just more leaf springs

 

i do believe that is what it is. my dad had a HD ford and it had hever leaf springs in it for load cap.

 

maybe the hds are diesel and the gas arent? what about the mega cabs are they considered hd? ive never saw the emblem on them.

 

That may be true. Back years ago before there were alot of diesels around it was haow the truck was set for loads and applications.

 

advertising, for the most part. They can get another $50.00 just for the emblems.
