Track Bars With Heim Joints - Do They Last?
I've got a clunk under the front of my '06 to find this weekend, I figure the track bar is the likely culprit. I'd like to just replace the bushings in my bar but I'll also be installing a 2" leveling kit so I an adjustable bar would be better. That said...
On bars with heim joints, do the joints last? They don't look like sealed heims so water / dirt / etc will get in, what are folks doing to make them last?
It is what it is but man I don't want to spend $400 on a fancy bar for a stock-ish truck.
