What more can I possibly do for my fuel system?
Bought 2007 5.9 brand new. Day after I got it I changed out the stock fuel filter for a 5 micron Baldwin for better protection. Always buy from high volume, reputable fuel stations. Changed the fuel filter every 5,000 on the nose and cleaned bowl and flushed if any debris ( Very rarely had anything). At 19,000 got rough idle and white smoke. Dealer replaced #5 injector. I added a GDP 2 micron Big line kit. Now at 100,000 miles I got 1.5% fuel in the oil on a 4,000 mile run and 2.5% fuel on a 2,000 mile run. Taking it in to SHop Monday to pull injectors and test/replace as necessary. What else could I possibly do to get more than 100,000 out of a set of injectors?

Oh, forgot to add that I use powerservice every other tank and PULL HARD with this truck. It gets USED but excellent maintenence.

Could possible add a Baldwin water seperator, but it seems like you should be good to go. Judging by your sig, your not running a pressure box so that is a plus.
Do you buy your fuel from the same fueling station? |
No, no pressure box or mods of that sort. I do gave gauges just for monitoring. I travel quite a bit . When I am home I get my fuel from the same place. When I am on the road I use places like Flying J, Loves, big truck stops that go through a lot of fuel. I guess its just bad luck.
