What brake pads do you like?

Well I am in need of some new brakes. I was wondering which brand everyone liked? Also is it a pain to change out these brakes? I have never attempted on this truck.
Thanks everyone!
Eric

Pad changes are straight forward... no big deal.

OEM pads are actually very good; although, they do make a lot of dust.

I am currently running the green stuff pads and like them a lot.

I agree with the comment about the OEM "Value Line" pads and the dust. I bought the value line thinking I could save some money--what a mistake. More brake dust than you can wash off. Some people think they do a good job----I think their JUNK!!!!!

OEM Premium Line is the only way to go. Little expensive but they last the miles and no squeal.

I just replaced mine with Wagner Severe duty pads. They are used on a lot of school busses and tow trucks. I got 91,000 miles off the original set. I replaced all four wheels. The fronts were gone, the backs were about half gone... Advanced Auto had a deal going with a 30 rebate, so it was a deal.

Thanks for all the responses. I have only done a couple brake changes and they have been on cars and not one of them coroperated with me! Ran into all sorts of problems. Hopefully my truck won't give me any problems! ha.
Thanks again!

I used Autozone's premium life time pads. They don't leave a great deal of dust and stop well. I did get about 140,000 miles out of my OME pads.

I thank that the ones that came on your truck is very good. Not so hard that you wear out rotors and do a good job of stoping.
