Looking at a truck and it has this in the center dash area. Any idea?

No next to the vent control on the temp area....Just to the left of the fan dial.

 

dunno. some sort of auxillary switch? aftermarket lights?

 

Probably was used for the nitrous. lol

 

Found out its a magnetic cell phone holder.

Did Dodge offer a center DVD player or is that aftermarket?

 

Really, if could be a number of things. You could ask, or get a flash light up under the dash and see if you can determine where the wires are going to.

 

Not sure what model or year truck you're talking about, but my '06 has a factory overhead video system.

 

I don't think a factory DVD unit would be black though. It's probably aftermarket and the thing on the dash is probably to hold the remote for it....

That's where I put my cell phone clip at too. Ask the person or the dealer

 

At least fill out your signature so we will know what you have, Looking at the dash/radio his truck is not an 06.

Big eye sore not being same color as head liner, the cost of a can of spray paint would of been worth investing in.
