Can I "tighten" my wastegate on my '03 to allow for more boost??? My '98 had a larger-aftermarket turbo housing with no wastegate so i was getting everything I could out of the turbo without tripping sensors in the ECU and no box to "trick" the ECU...that comes out to be 29.99PSI

 

Looks to be an air pressure actuator. I guess you could pinch off the signal line to the actuator and totally defeat the wastegate.

 

Hows about taking the 2 nuts offand putting 2 washers inbetween the boost controller and housing then put the 2 nuts back on, will up the boost a hair, not sure how much though!
