very very interesting website

not sure if I was supposed to find this website.... ????

http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2004/dr/drmo.pdf

you need to dig very deep to find information but there is TONS and TONS of just very obscure, random info that is not in the factory service manual...as well as some stuff that is in the FSM like wiring diagrams.

Anyone see in the fluid capacity charts where it says to add .25 pints of limited slip additive if equiped with a trac-lok. I thought I read they didn't need/use an additive.

If you'll look at the footnote, that is for the 9.25" rearend only. The 10.5" and the 11.5" do not have that same footnote listed.

As for the rear end it says not to use the friction additive if you have a trac rite (no cluth pacs) and use the additive if you have the trac loc (clutch pacs.)

Did you guys notice that it says the 3500 4x4 has .13" thicker brake rotors than the rest of the trucks? I always thought the only difference was overload springs and cab lights. I guess I'm getting better brakes, too! I know, not that big of a deal but still...
