Vacuum Hose, a buzzing noise, and Zip Ties

About a week ago, I started to hear a noticable rattling type noise coming from the dashboard, or so I thought. After some seaching on DTR, turns out to be the vacuum pump on the passenger side.. It's pretty loud under the hood, but in the cab it becomes an annoying buzz.

The vacuum hose going from under the driver side battery tray to pump had a hole in it. The zip tie holding the hose in place from the factory was so tight, it eventually wore it down..

For you guys that haven't had this problem yet, simple suggestion, cut the factory tie and re-zip with some slack. It's an easy preventative measure that may prevent future issues.

Another thing to note, the tie actually helped seal the leak, when I moved the hose, whatever seal it had, was gone. So if you cut your tie, you may discover your hose already has a leak in. And don't blame me if you cut your hose by mistake. [dummy]

This is the second zip tie issue I've had, the first was the transmission fluid dip stick. Anyone know of any other zip tie that should be re-zipped to prevent future problems?

Thanks
