turbo lag? how?

im wondering if i have a boost leak or not. takes me what seems like forever to get it to spool. ive noticed that at 65 mph im below 10 lbs, but before i used to sit at 10 lbs cruising at 65 mph. it dropped a couple lbs. is it the smarty prog i am running? i mean its slow as all heck getting to 10 lbs, but after that it spools pretty quick. i guess im experiencing more lag than anything. just curious what could be causing it? should i double check my gauge connections?

I'm thinking since the engine is running more efficiently with the SMARTY it doesn't require as much boost to hold constant speed. But the drawback it a little longer spool up time.

What's your torque management setting? Could bump it up a notch and see if the lag time is shortened.

i believe with the jr it comes with a modified tq mgt which i assume would be moderate. you cant bump the tq mgt with the jr i think. also i have the beta download, which was designed to cut back on the amount of smoke you were rollin'.
