Can you have a repair done from a TSB AFTER 3 year/36K factory warranty expires?

 

Absolutely. You may or may not have to pay depending on the dealer. When you go in make sure you talk about the symptoms that are relative to the TSB i.e. long cranking, white smoke, overhead etc. Then tell them you heard there might be a TSB that addresses it. Some dealers get defensive if you just come in and say you want a TSB done.

The TSB's list the labor hours that they would bill if the charge you.

 

....that would be the DC warranty time and labor op. Customer pay is usually at a different rate.

 

Is a TSB repair cost automatically covered by dealer? Why does/should it vary?
