Buy the AFE torque tube, or make your from Airflowonline.com

I took a hacksaw to mine. What I did was take the blade off of the saw and reassemble it with the blade inside the tube. I cut through the baffles and the center section came right out. Then you just pull the outer pieces out. Pretty simple. I don't think they will just come out easily without cutting them....

When I removed the baffles from my rig, I got a piece of 5'' exhaust tubing from napa. Cost's around $7 a foot. The exhaust tubing is a bit smaller than the baffle set-up but the clamps will tighten down good enough. Remember to clean and paint the pipe, other wise it'll rust.

wadem,

I went to the scrap metal yard and found some 5.25 OD thinwall steel tube. Brought a piece home and cut the matching length. Painted it black and had a perfect fit. Now the stock piece is on a shelf in a plastic bag. :D

I know a lot of you guys are worried about DC knowing that you removed the baffles. But ask yourself, will they ever even check for those baffles if something goes wrong with your truck? Chances are they will pull the whole assembly from the rubber boot at the air box to the rubber boot at the turbo and never even think to look inside. They are just there for sound deadening anyways. I had no problem cutting mine out......
