Trans Temp light
Yesterday in the snow storm I was in 4x4 and my tranny light kept coming on and flashing as I came down to idle. My guage didn't register over 100 degrees. It was butt cold and I was not hauling anything at the time. Anyone have any ideas?

I got under there yesterday and the entire tranny was surrounded by snow. I took it out yesterday after removing most of the snow and had no light. After I get the wires good and dry I will get some of that spray rubber that insulates wires and hit the connectors under there. I am sure it was nothing but some connector that was wet and cross firing with another wire at a connection. The tranny temp guage I have was barely over 100 degrees. Sad job of insulating witres from the factory.
You may want to check for a recall. I know that mine had a recall for the tranny to tranny cooler line that could possibly fex too much and cause the inlet connection to the tranny cooler to break and cause a tranny fluid leak which would inturn cause a tranny overtemp light
You may want to look into it and see if it al pplies to your truck.
