Top speed of our trucks?
I know my truck will not shut down at 100 like chevy's will is that normal?
Run out of rpm at 130 or so. Stock fuel shut off is like 108 I thought I read somewhere. Maybe 118? Stock Tires aren't rated to go that fast anyway. They start making funny noises after 105-110.
Stock is like 106 I think. Mine with the 4.10 gear and stock tires was up to about 118 on a dyno, I got a Smarty and took off the limiter.
Seems like mine will go till it blows
mine have all gone over 105 stock, not sure the top kinda busy at that speed to look
well I have pushed mine to 110 once my friend was looking while I was with both hands on the wheel. lol
Around 108 stock.....I set mine to 130 with the Smarty.....never had it that fast, but it will reach 100 in a heart beat.
Mine hits a limiter at about 99 MPH.
Of course under controlled conditions on a track and not a public roadway. Keep holding it to the floor and it wil actually slow down and the pedal is dead, let off the pedal and then hit again it will go o 99 and do the same tihng over again. |
Not sure if Quad race changes anything but mines really climbs to 110 then defuels, not sure what the RPM is but it is close to 3K.
118 here!!!!!!!
113 with the welding skid in the back

138 on my gps not long after i got it, the 35s let it spin up a little more
mine will go 107-108, with 3.73, what chip can remove the speed limiter
You don't need a chip to remove the speed limiter. Just reach down and turn the key like you're going to start it (limiter override). The computer knows not to engage the actual starter.
I will not confess how I know this (or how fast I've gone) but I was amazed at how stable the truck was at those speeds. Lots of iron under that hood. |
