Tie rods and ends

OK I was under the truck today for a oil change and this is what I found.
There are two joints that take grease and two that do not if I remember.
Two that don't are shot.
One is the end on the box on the drag link the other is the one on the end of the tie rod that is built into the bar.
Not really sure that the other ones are great but at least I know now that one drag link bar needs replaced and one end.
I have read about the upgrades for the 08 mod year with the one piece tierod and not the Y.
So the questions,
Is that the best way to do it 08-09 mod?
Go back stock Dodge y rods?
Get the Y rods from a parts house aftermarket?

Last is the cost on them all?
And where to find the deal on both setups?
If its cheep to do the old way then fine it got me 95K if it cost more for the new type, and lots better, is it worth it?

Thanks.

The oem ends are no longer serviced from Dodge. They supercede to the new system. You missed the deal........they have just about doubled in price form the original release price.

Doubled in price on the new setup? That sucks. I just got a quote a couple of weeks back and it looked like it would be under $400 for the parts, not including a new pitman arm.
