Got my oil tested by blackstone. Showed high level of iron and silver. any ideas?? No contaminantes found in the oil sample.
Iron 61 normal ave. 27
Silver 3 normal ave. 0
They said to cut back to 6000 miles on oil then test again. They suspect the silver is from turbo charger bearings. They said cummins would not say what the silver is from. Iron is from cylinder walls.
Any ideas from any one?
The truck has always been stock, bought it new.
