Tail shaft play?

I was under my truck today checking stuff out. I have a vibration which I'm almost positive is my tires (295/70/R17 Toyo MT's) but I thought I would take a look at the u-joints and such. Anyway, when I shook the front of the driveshaft there is some play in the output shaft of the Transfer case. Is this normal? it only moves up and down enough to make a knock-knock when you wiggle it but it's visible movement in the yoke.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Keep on rolling,if a sliding yoke. If fixed yoke, some play might be noticable also.

The 03 I used to have, and my current 06 both had detectable play.

I think it's normal.
